Job Purpose | Job Purpose | This role is responsible for developing and implementing analytics leveraged by merchandising and SEG Compass. Analytics are utilized to execute merchandising strategy for pricing, promotions, assortment, and vendor management. Analytics include querying information for ad hoc requests directly from merchandising stakeholders and building dashboards that stakeholders leverage on a daily basis. Provides recommendations & actionable insights that merchants can leverage. Executes white tags retails to align with pricing strategy. |

Essential Responsibilities | Percent Of Responsibilities | Responsibility | % Of Time | Pricing Execution Reviews white tag retails and adjust according to base retail strategy. Performs base retail optimizations on categories to align to category strategy financial KPIs. Review cost changes from vendor partners and recommends retail changes to merchants. | 40% | Database Querying Utilizes advanced knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Excel pivot tables, or other analytical tools as needed to lead the development and creation of actionable insights for stakeholders as part of projects, ad hoc requests, or routine deliverables. | 20% | Building Dashboards Leads the development of company data knowledge by creating, refining, and regularly monitoring Power BI dashboards and the overall data ecosystem to help democratize insights. Utilizes advanced knowledge of DAX to compose measures and build out the right visuals to bring the data to life. | 20% | Merchandising Ad Hoc Insights Leads data analysis such as competitive analysis, category performance, item level forecasting, pre/post promotional analysis, space analytics, etc. and ensures that it is accurate, on-time, and drives actionable insights for the organization.
